Cd - Cadmium
Cadmium is a toxic metal, discovered by Fredrich Strohmeyer in 1817, who was heating zinc carbonate (formerly known as kadmia) to remove impurities. Cadmium is a soft, bluish-white metal and is easily cut with a knife.
